Do I need to install an app to use DropDirecto?
No. DropDirecto runs directly in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Just open dropdirecto.com on your devices and start transferring. There is nothing to download or install.
Do my files go through the cloud or get stored on a server?
No. DropDirecto uses WebRTC to send files directly from browser to browser. Your photos, videos and documents never leave your devices to the cloud.
Does DropDirecto work between iPhone and Windows?
Yes. It is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. Both devices just need a browser open with dropdirecto.com.
What if the two devices are not on the same Wi-Fi network?
Use the "With Code" option. A 6-digit code is generated that the other device enters to connect instantly, regardless of which network each is on.
Can I convert photos to PDF and sign it without leaving the page?
Yes. DropDirecto includes a full PDF creation module: scan with the camera, pick photos, reorder them and sign with your finger DocuSign-style before sending or downloading. Everything happens in your browser.
